Chapter 15: First Place and Kissy Face

Last night was one of the coolest nights of the summer.  Our softball team did really well this year going into our final regular season game with only one loss.  Our final game was against Tri-Hydro, another team with only one loss and tied for first with us.  This game would decide who finished in first place so we were pretty pumped up about it.  The game started off terribly.  They were hitting really well and we were not fielding all that well.  By the time the fourth inning rolled around we were down 12-1.  At this point we needed two runs to even keep playing.  Well our defense started picking up and we got the bats going and by some mixture of luck, skill, and divine intervention we came back and won shutting them out the last three innings and winning 13-12.  Seriously I am still pumped about it.  The city league tournament starts monday and we are playing in the competitive tourney. Then in August we play the state tournament.  It has been such a fun year of softball and I hope we keep having success.  

This last weekend I went down to Utah to help Cassidee get a bunch of stuff ready for her move to Cheyenne.  While I was there I saw Kendal.  It was really really fun to see her but it makes me sad that she is still there and I have no idea when I'll see her again.  I have really only known her for like two weeks face to face but I really get on well with her in a lot of ways.  And she's gorgeous.  Other than that I am just staying busy working 40 hours a week and spending the rest of my spare time brain storming and scripting for upcoming episodes of Driving. I'd like to think it is picking up momentum but I really have no idea.  Toodles
